One 250ml bottle of cooker/aga/boiler additive treats 1,000 litres of fuel.

There has been a significant increase in vaporising boiler field problems during the past couple of years and many are wondering if the kerosene quality has changed slightly due to the introduction of 1000wppm sulphur.

Cooker/Aga/Boiler Additive Information

Customers using this product have told us that they have seen a marked reduction in their operating problems and an increasing number of cooker range owners now use Exocet cooker additive in all of their kerosene.

Although the Char Value of domestic kerosene (BS2869:C2) has an upper limit of 20mg/kg, field experience since 2008 indicates that for numerous reasons fuel is actually being supplied with Char Values in the range 16-30mg/kg. The situation is not improving and is having a serious negative impact on the performance of range cookers (e.g. AGAs, Rayburns, Waterford-Stanleys, etc), where carbon build-up around the burner is now commonplace. This results is variable heat output and poor introllability. Exocet Aga Additive acts to reduce the Char Value of the fuel, improving its combustion performance and maintaining a clean burner for long.

This definitely worked for me. One thing I would say is that if you pump has failed then get the tank checked for water first. This stuff will do its job but as the water sinks to the bottom of the tank this will still get dragged through first even if you have the additive in.
