Smarden Tractor Run Sunday 17th May 2015

More than 100 tractors are to take to streets of Smarden, Egerton and Headcorn on Sunday 17th May in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. The 15 mile route will see tractors of all sizes and shapes, pulling trailers, towing families and having a great day out in the sunshine.

Organiser Mark Wilson said: “Each year we have run this event, more and more tractors take part, growing from only 40 tractors in the first year to 118 in 2014. People from all over east Kent come to take part to raise funds for a charity dear to our families’ hearts.”

Sharon Burberry, Pilgrims fundraising assistant said: “It was a great day out. I was blown away by the sight of all these tractors and trailers driving through Smarden, Egerton and Headcorn. It was a sight to behold and an event for all the family.
