What to use if you run out of heating oil? other than Kerosene?

You can use Paraffin or Fast Kerosene as they burn cleaner and better that normal domestic heating oil and both are available here Paraffin or Fast Kerosene.

What you can’t put in your heating oil tank is white diesel (road diesel or Gas Oil (red diesel). These fuels have to much lubricity and are two heavy for the boiler. For more information see here
