Suitable for general cleaning purposes, brush cleaning and paint thinning. White Spirit is more suitable for paint thinning than other solvents as it will not affect the drying time of oil based paints.
This can be used to clean the bushes, spray guns or any other applicational equipment for all the wood treatments we provide. Wood Treatments & Preservatives
White spirit, mineral spirits, mineral turpentine, turpentine substitute and petroleum spirits. These are all names for the same product. There are also terms for specific kinds of mineral spirits, including Stoddard solvent and solvent naphtha (petroleum). Mineral spirits are often used as a paint thinner, or as a component thereof, though paint thinner is a broader category of solvent.
