Neat Cutting Oil

 

Neatcut FE22 is a neat cutting oil formulated with sylphurised ester additives using solvent refined base oil. Used in general machining operations on low and medium tensile steels. Especially recommended for single and multi spindle automatics and thread rolling operations. You can use it for automatic operations on most non-ferrous metals. Neatcut FE22 will not stain yellow metals, contains anti mist additives and will extend tool life and working components.

As this product is not mixed with water, they provide better tool life and surface finishes for difficult operations at low speeds than water soluble cutting oils.  The maintenance of neat cutting fluids is also easier, providing a longer coolant life.

The main disadvantage of neat cutting oils, is the poorer cooling capability compared to water soluble cutting fluids. This is  particularly relevant with high speed machining.  Therefore, neat fluids are mainly used for honing, deep hole drilling, grinding and broaching oils.
