Lets talk wood treatments!
Aside from our amazing

decking oil.
Was you aware that we also have the following products that maybe of interest to you

* Rye Oil Ltd.âs Danish Oil is produced by blending over 50% Tung Oil with naphthenic base oils and additives. We produce a product thicker then other Danish Oils out there. This means it dryâs within 24 hours and doesnât disappear into the centre of the wood leaving the outer wood unprotected, like all the thinner Danish oils do. This doesnât mean it sits on the surface, the oil gives a even absorption rate throughout the wood (as long as you donât drench the wood).
Rye Oil Ltd donât used any chemical drying additives, cheap vegetable or linseed oils in this product. Rye Oilâs Danish oil doesnât film over as quickly as other danish oils, allowing longer application times and less clogged up brushes.
* Pure Natural Tung Oil is made from the pressed seed of the Chinese Tung Nut Tree, and gives a superior finish to linseed oil, which tends to darken with age. It has a smooth clear, low sheen finish that penetrates and nourishes wood, before sealing and providing a water resistant barrier.
* Boiled Linseed Oil. When used as a wood finish, linseed oil dries slowly and shrinks little upon hardening. Linseed oil does not cover the surface as varnish does, but soaks into the (visible and microscopic) pores, leaving a shiny but not glossy surface that shows off the grain of the wood. A linseed oil finish is easily repaired.
* Raw Linseed Oil. Itâs suitable for replacing natural sheen that wood may lose after long periods in the sun. This Linseed Oil replaces natural oils removed by weathering. Use internally or externally on unpolished surfaces.
âRawâ linseed oil is just that. Linseed oil mercilessly squeezed from flax seed and packaged with no additional additives or preservatives. This oil dries very slowly, taking weeks to fully cure. You should limit its use to the insides of wood gutters, chopping blocks, sawhorses, and other items exposed to the elements where drying time is not a consideration.
If you require a drying times please use our Boiled Linseed Oil.
