Semi-Synthetic 10w40 is a Semi synthetic passenger car/van engine oil.

Semi-Synthetic 10w40 Product Description:

Meeting ACEA and API specifications required by a large number of cars and
light commercial vehicles.

10W-40 is manufactured from a balanced blend of top quality mineral and synthetic base stocks to
produce a high quality engine oil with outstanding properties. Its naturally higher lubricity offers lower internal
friction which reduces engine wear and improves fuel economy. It provides excellent stay in grade performance for a
wide range of modern engines.

Applications:
10W-40 is suitable for normally aspirated and turbocharged highly stressed diesel and petrol engines in

The current and previous API Service Categories are summarized in convenient charts. Vehicle owners should refer to their owner’s manuals before consulting these charts. Oils may have more than one performance level. For automotive gasoline engines, the latest engine oil service category includes the performance properties of each earlier category. If an automotive owner’s manual calls for an API SN oil, an API SP oil will provide full protection. For diesel engines, the latest category usually – but not always – includes the performance properties of an earlier category.

CF-4 Not suitable for use in most diesel-powered automotive engines built after 2009.

CF-2  Not suitable for use in most diesel-powered automotive engines built after 2009. Two-stroke cycle engines may have different lubrication requirements than four-stroke engines, so the manufacturer should be contacted for current lubrication recommendations.

CF : Not suitable for use in most diesel-powered automotive engines built after 2009. Later “C” category oils are usually suitable or preferred for diesel automotive engines for which “CF” oils were specified. Older equipment and/or two-stroke diesel engines, especially those calling for monograde products, may however require “CF” category oil.

CE: Not suitable for use in most diesel-powered automotive engines built after 1994.

CD-II: Not suitable for use in most diesel-powered automotive engines built after 1994.

CD: Not suitable for use in most diesel-powered automotive engines built after 1994.
